Itahari: MAW Vriddhi Motors, the authorized distributor of Dongfeng Nammi Electric Vehicles in Nepal, officially unveiled the Nammi Vigo “Nepal’s most advanced smart electric SUV” at a grand ceremony in Itahari. The unveiling was jointly carried out by Chief Guest Mr. Jeevan Parajuli, President of FNCCI Itahari; Mr. Dipendra Chudhary, Managing Director of Srijana Motors; Mr. Saroj Shrestha, President of Purbeli Yatayat; Mr. Prashanna Panta, CEO of MAW Vriddhi Motors; Mr. Rajendra Sigdel, Sales Head at MAW Vriddhi Motors; and Mr. Govinda Bhusal, Dealer Head at MAW Vriddhi. The event was attended by media representatives, customers, business leaders, and automotive professionals.

Built on Dongfeng’s Quantum Architecture Platform, the Nammi Vigo sets a new benchmark in Nepal’s mid-size electric SUV segment with its bold design, intelligent features, and exceptional performance. Its distinctive Magic Cube Design merges modern strength with aerodynamic elegance, establishing a striking new design identity for the Nammi brand.

Powered by a 99 kW motor, the Vigo delivers instant torque and smooth acceleration across both city and highway terrains. It comes with two battery options : 44.94 kWh (WLTP range: 300 km) and 51.87 kWh (WLTP range: 350 km) and supports 3C ultra-fast charging (167 kW DC) that charges the battery from 30% to 80% in just 18 minutes, adding up to 114 km of range within minutes.

The Nammi Vigo also introduces several segment-first features, including the Heaven & Earth Tailgate, a two-section tailgate that supports up to 150 kg of load; exterior music speakers for outdoor entertainment; music-sync ambient lighting that moves with rhythm and mood; memory and welcome seats for personalized comfort; and a 3C fast-charging system for quick energy replenishment.

On the technology and safety front, the Vigo is equipped with Level 2 ADAS, a 360° camera, adaptive cruise control, wireless charging, and multi-mode steering for a more intelligent driving experience. Inside, it features a 12.8-inch touchscreen, ventilated zero-pressure seats, and a panoramic moonroof, creating a luxurious, high-tech interior environment. Safety is reinforced through the Mach Battery System, which has been rigorously tested for zero fire or explosion, combined with a 68.4% high-strength steel body and six airbags for all-around protection.

The Nammi Vigo E2 is priced at Rs. 38,99,000, while the E2+ variant is available at Rs. 41,99,000. As part of a special launch offer in Itahari, customers can purchase the Vigo E2 at Rs. 37,99,000 and the Vigo E2+ at Rs. 40,99,000.
