MCube in Collaboration with BYD Announces Kathmandu Chronicles

Kathmandu: MCube Nepal, in collaboration with BYD, has officially announced the launch of Kathmandu Chronicles an innovative experiential journey designed to celebrate the beauty, history, and culture of Nepal. Hosted by Marriott Kathmandu as part of its annual MCube retreat, the initiative goes beyond the conference room, offering Marriott’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) partners and stakeholders a unique opportunity to connect through the living heritage of Kathmandu.

At its heart, Kathmandu Chronicles is a treasure hunt across three of the valley’s most iconic heritage landmarks Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Swayambhunath. Divided into teams, participants will travel in BYD’s electric vehicles, solve riddles, and complete interactive challenges that bring the stories of these sites to life.

The event highlights Nepal as a premier MICE destination, demonstrating how business gatherings in the country can seamlessly combine professional engagement with cultural exploration. From ancient temples to historic courtyards, each stop is designed to spark teamwork, learning, and fun.

The journey begins at Marriott Kathmandu and concludes at Fairfield by Marriott, where participants will gather for a celebration. The winning team will be honored with the title of “Kathmandu Experts.”

Speaking on the initiative, representatives from MCube emphasized the program’s objective: “Kathmandu Chronicles is more than just an event it’s an experience that deepens collaboration while showcasing the vibrant cultural heritage of Nepal. Together with BYD, we are proud to create a platform that combines sustainability, history, and hospitality in one memorable journey.”

Through this collaboration between MCube and BYD, participants will walk away not just with memories, but with a refreshed perspective of Kathmandu as a city of heritage, culture, and hospitality.
