Nepal SBI Bank Organizes MD’s Cup Futsal Tournament to Mark 33rd Anniversary

Kathmandu: Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. celebrated its 33rd anniversary by organizing the MD’s Cup Futsal Tournament–2083, bringing together employees from all seven provinces to promote teamwork, camaraderie, and a healthy work-life balance.

Held on June 28 at Dhanwantari Futsal in Kathmandu, the tournament featured teams representing the bank’s Provincial Offices and Corporate Office. The event served as a platform to strengthen employee relationships, encourage collaboration, and foster team spirit beyond the workplace.

The tournament included exhibition matches involving the bank’s Management Team and Women’s Team, while teams from the Provincial Offices and Corporate Office competed in the Men’s Category.

More than 150 employees from across the country participated in the event, which was attended by the bank’s senior leadership, including Managing Director and CEO Ram Kumar Tiwari, Deputy CEO and COO Vikas Anand, CFO Rajesh Kumar Panda, CBDO Prabin Muni Bajracharya, CCO Roshan Koirala, Bagmati Province Head Sushil Raj Shrestha, and other senior officials.

Participants displayed strong enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, reinforcing the values of teamwork, unity, and collaboration while building stronger connections among employees from different regions.

The tournament concluded with an award ceremony, where Managing Director and CEO Ram Kumar Tiwari and Deputy CEO and COO Vikas Anand presented trophies, medals, and certificates to the winners and participants.

Speaking on the occasion, CEO Ram Kumar Tiwari praised the active participation of employees from across Nepal, stating that such initiatives strengthen the bank’s organizational culture, enhance employee engagement, and promote a healthy and inclusive workplace.

Nepal SBI Bank has been providing banking services in Nepal for more than 32 years. The bank currently operates a nationwide network comprising 103 branches, 22 extension counters, seven provincial offices, 21 branchless banking outlets, 127 ATMs, and a Corporate Office.
