Located in Adarshnagar, Birgunj, the new showroom officially began operations on June 18 under the management of Gateway Motors Pvt. Ltd. The expansion is aimed at making Ather’s smart and high-performance electric scooters more accessible to customers in the Madhesh region.
With the addition of Birgunj, Ather Nepal now operates 12 Experience Centers nationwide, including five in Kathmandu Valley and outlets in Pokhara, Chitwan, Itahari, Butwal, Janakpur, Birtamod, and Birgunj. The Birgunj Experience Center showcases Ather’s complete electric scooter portfolio, including the Ather 450 series and the family-oriented Ather Rizta.
The Ather 450 series is designed for riders seeking performance and advanced technology. Key features include Google Maps-based navigation, AutoHold, Fall Safe, reverse mode, multiple riding modes, and a touchscreen dashboard.
Meanwhile, the Ather Rizta is targeted at family users and daily commuters, offering a spacious seat, large under-seat storage, traction control, tow and theft alerts, WhatsApp notifications on the dashboard, and comfort-focused ergonomics.
Visitors to the new Experience Center can explore the company’s full range of electric scooters, participate in live product demonstrations, take test rides, learn about connected technologies, and explore financing and exchange options.
To support customers in the region, Ather has also established dedicated service facilities that provide access to trained technicians, genuine spare parts, and maintenance services.
