Kathmandu: A decision has been made to elect National Assembly member Leela Bhandari from the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) for the position of Vice Chairperson of the National Assembly.

Ram Kumari Jhankri, a lawmaker from the party, informed that the parties represented in the upper house of the Federal Parliament had agreed to give UML the post of Vice Chairperson on a party basis.
