Kathmandu: Prices of gold and silver witnessed a slight decline in the local market today, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The price of gold dropped by Rs. 4,600 per tola, bringing it down to Rs. 281,000 per tola. Similarly, silver prices also decreased by Rs. 150 per tola, now standing at Rs. 4,670 per tola.
On Thursday, gold was traded at Rs. 285,600 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs. 4,820 per tola. Earlier on Wednesday, gold had reached Rs. 288,500 per tola and silver was traded at Rs. 4,920 per tola.
Meanwhile, in the international market, gold is currently being traded at USD 4,434 per ounce, while silver is priced at USD 69 per ounce, according to international media reports.
