Kathmandu. The prices of gold and silver have increased again in the Nepali market today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has reached Rs 313,500 per tola today. On the previous trading day (Sunday), gold was traded at Rs 310,300 per tola.
On the second trading day of the week alone, gold has become Rs 8,800 more expensive per tola; rising by Rs 5,600 on Sunday and Rs 3,200 on Monday. Earlier, on Magh 15, gold was traded at a record price of Rs 339,300 per tola, while silver had reached Rs 7,505 per tola. After that, the price had declined to Rs 302,000 per tola in Falgun, but has now risen again to cross Rs 313,000.
Similarly, the price of silver has also increased on Monday. Silver, which was traded at Rs 5,425 per tola on the previous trading day, has been fixed at Rs 5,595 per tola today, according to the Federation, an increase of Rs 170 per tola compared to the previous day.
In the international market, gold is currently being traded at USD 5,161 per ounce.
