Kathmandu: The prices of gold and silver increased in the Nepali market on Sunday.

Gold, which had remained stable on the previous trading day (Friday), rose by Rs 5,600 per tola on the first trading day of the week, crossing Rs 310,000 per tola once again.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has reached Rs 310,300 per tola today. On Friday, gold was traded at Rs 304,700 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has also increased. Silver, which was traded at Rs 5,050 per tola on Friday, has risen by Rs 375. Today, silver is being traded at Rs 5,425 per tola, the Federation stated.

In the international market, gold is currently being traded at USD 5,107 per ounce.
