Kathmandu: Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Honda vehicles in Nepal, has announced a major Safety Recall campaign, reinforcing its commitment to customer safety. As part of this initiative, the company will replace airbags in specific Honda models manufactured between 2001 and 2014, completely free of cost.

This recall is part of a global safety initiative by Honda Motor Company, Japan, aimed at addressing a potential issue in the airbag inflators of older vehicles. Over time, these inflators may develop defects, and the recall ensures that customers can continue to travel with maximum safety and confidence. Syakar Trading has launched this campaign in Nepal as part of its responsibility toward Honda vehicle owners.

The safety recall includes the following Honda models:
Jazz, Accord, CR-V, Civic, City, and Stream.

To support this initiative, Syakar Trading has deployed trained and certified technicians who will replace affected airbags at no charge to the vehicle owners.

The company strongly encourages customers who own one of the listed Honda models to check whether their vehicle is eligible for the recall. Owners are requested to contact their nearest authorized Honda service center and schedule an appointment at the earliest.
