Kathmandu: MAW Rides Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Yamaha two-wheelers in Nepal, has announced the unveiling of the highly anticipated Yamaha XSR 155 at the NADA Auto Show 2026, scheduled from August 25 to 30 at the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu.
Centered around the campaign thought “Born to Stand Apart,” the event will provide visitors and motorcycle enthusiasts across Nepal with their first opportunity to experience Yamaha’s new retro-modern motorcycle firsthand. The motorcycle has been designed for riders seeking a distinctive road presence and a machine that stands apart from conventional street bikes.
The Yamaha XSR 155 represents a unique fusion of timeless motorcycle heritage and contemporary performance. Featuring an iconic teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a signature round LED headlamp with a retro-inspired lighting design, a flat bench-style seat, and minimal, clean bodywork, the motorcycle carries a distinct classic character with a commanding stance.
Powered by a refined 155cc engine, the XSR 155 combines everyday urban usability with engaging performance. It also integrates modern features and technology into a classic architecture, delivering a distinctive riding experience.

As part of the unveiling phase, Yamaha Nepal has revealed that an exclusive pre-booking window will officially open at the NADA Auto Show. Under this process, customers wishing to purchase the XSR 155 will be required to pre-book the motorcycle one month in advance.
The requirement is intended to provide passionate riders with early access to the initial allocation of the XSR 155 ahead of wider market availability, further establishing the motorcycle’s positioning as an exclusive statement of personal style.
Motorcycle enthusiasts and visitors attending the NADA Auto Show are invited to visit the Yamaha stall at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall between August 25 and 30, from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM daily. Visitors can experience the XSR 155 firsthand, interact with product specialists, and place their pre-bookings.
