Kathmandu: Sagar Distillery Limited has announced the launch of the 180ml pack of The Governor Smokewood Cask Whisky, expanding its premium blended whisky portfolio following the successful debut of the 750ml variant. The new 180ml format offers consumers a more accessible way to experience the brand’s refined taste and craftsmanship, catering to evolving drinking occasions and preferences.

Crafted from Highland and Speyside Scotch malts aged up to 10 years, The Governor Whisky embodies its philosophy: “Two Legendary Malts, One Exceptional Blend.” Highland and Speyside are among the most celebrated Scotch malt regions, renowned for their balance, depth, and consistency shaped by centuries of craftsmanship. In the blend, the Highland malt adds depth and structure, while the Speyside malt brings smoothness and balance. Finished in Smokewood casks, the whisky delivers elegant notes of vanilla, oak, and caramel, complemented by a soft smoky finish.

Commenting on the launch, Saurav Karanjeet, CEO of Sagar Distillery Limited, stated that the introduction of the 180ml pack enhances accessibility while maintaining the brand’s premium quality and distinctive character.

The Governor Smokewood Cask Whisky (180ml) will be available nationwide at an MRP of NPR 745.
