‘Happy Selling’! Daraz Nepal Celebrates Its Seller Community at the 7th Seller Summit

Kathmandu: Daraz Nepal, the country’s leading online marketplace, successfully hosted its seventh annual Seller Summit on August 15 (Shrawan 30) at Heritage Garden, Sanepa, Lalitpur. The event brought together 470 sellers from across Nepal under the theme of “Happy Selling”, a seller-centric initiative designed to strengthen Daraz’s long-term partnership with its seller community.

Originally introduced to support seller enablement, Happy Selling has been expanded this year to better address the evolving needs of sellers across the region. The initiative now unifies all seller-focused programs under one cohesive identity, offering:

  • Enhanced seller experience
  • Deeper engagement and recognition
  • Stronger rewards and incentives
  • Powerful tools and resources to help sellers grow on the Daraz platform

In her keynote remarks, Aanchal Kunwar, Managing Director of Daraz Nepal, highlighted the dual impact of the initiative empowering sellers while strengthening Nepal’s wider e-commerce ecosystem. She stated:

The summit also featured insights from Daraz Nepal’s leadership team, who shared how close collaboration with sellers has been central to Daraz’s growth and the rapid expansion of e-commerce in Nepal.

The highlight of the evening was the recognition of 22 top-performing sellers and affiliates for their excellence, dedication, and innovation in driving customer satisfaction and business success on Daraz.
