MAW Vriddhi Sets a New Milestone with the Launch of Deepal S05 and Nammi Vigo in Nepalgunj

MAW Vriddhi, the authorized distributor of Deepal and Nammi electric vehicles in Nepal, has strengthened its presence in western Nepal with the official launch of the Deepal S05 and Nammi Vigo in Nepalgunj. The simultaneous launch, conducted in partnership with Panas Automotive, the authorized dealer for the Nepalgunj region, marks a significant step in expanding access to advanced electric mobility solutions in the region.

The launch event was attended by local officials, business leaders, customers, and members of the media. The occasion was graced by Mr. Tanka Nath Dhami, President of FNCCI Nepalgunj, as Chief Guest, and Mr. Pradip Bhattrai, President of FNCCI Kohalpur, as Special Guest. Senior leadership from the MAW Group, including Mr. Vivek Sikaria, Managing Director of MAW Vriddhi; Mr. Sandip Chatterjee, Vice President, MAW Group Passenger Division; Mr. Prashanna Panta, CEO of MAW Vriddhi Motors; and Mr. Gyandendra Chand, CEO of MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, were present at the event. Representing Panas Automotive, Mr. Gyanendra Khanal, Chairman, and Mr. Aayush Khanal, Managing Director, reaffirmed their commitment to developing a strong EV ecosystem in western Nepal.

The Deepal S05, one of the most talked-about electric SUVs of the year, arrives in Nepalgunj with a strong reputation for comfort, technology, and performance. Equipped with CATL’s Golden Shield Battery System 2.0, the S05 offers long battery life and high durability, making it suitable for both urban commuting and long-distance travel. The SUV features premium elements such as ventilated and heated front seats, a Queen Co-Pilot Seat with zero-gravity mode, remote in-and-out parking, AR-HUD with live navigation, and a 14.4-inch touchscreen with full internet connectivity, delivering a truly future-ready driving experience.

Alongside the S05, MAW Vriddhi Motors, through Panas Automotive, also introduced the Nammi Vigo, a smart electric SUV built on Dongfeng’s Quantum Architecture Platform. The Vigo stands out with its bold Magic Cube Design, a powerful 99 kW motor, and two battery options offering up to 350 km WLTP range. Its key highlights include the Heaven & Earth Tailgate, music-synchronized ambient lighting, memory and welcome seats, fast charging from 30% to 80% in just 18 minutes, and Level 2 ADAS, enhancing safety and driving confidence.

With Panas Automotive appointed as the authorized distributor in Nepalgunj, customers in the region can now access sales, service, test drives, and comprehensive after-sales support for both Deepal and Nammi vehicles through a dedicated local partner backed by MAW Vriddhi.

The Deepal S05 is priced at Rs. 56,99,000 for the black interior and Rs. 57,99,000 for the orange interior. As a special Nepalgunj launch offer, the S05 is available at Rs. 55,99,000 for the black interior and Rs. 56,99,000 for the orange interior. The Nammi Vigo E2 is priced at Rs. 38,99,000, while the E2+ variant is available at Rs. 41,99,000. Under the launch offer, the Vigo E2 is available at Rs. 37,99,000, and the E2+ at Rs. 40,99,000.

To mark the launch, MAW Vriddhi and Panas Automotive have also commenced a special Test Drive and Exchange Program in Nepalgunj. The initiative allows customers to experience both models firsthand, receive expert product consultation, and benefit from exclusive launch-period offers and attractive exchange schemes—further accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in the region.
